Advice for people who are struggling with things like self love, confidence, etc.
https://ift.tt/n2kI6JXHello. I just want to talk about self love and help people who are struggling with it. Maybe i can help even if it's just a little bit. As human beings, we struggle to love ourselves as we grow up. We start to notice flaws and people even point them out. Which makes us insecure. We see people who look "better" than us. Which can also make us insecure. A lot of things can cause us to get insecure and when you're insecure, you struggle with self love and you feel a lot of negative emotions within yourself. You may even have depression, anxiety, etc. But the thing is, you CAN love yourself. You just need that mindset.
I've been watching this youtuber lately and she's called Thewizardliz. Maybe you've heard of her, maybe you haven't. She basically helps people struggling with self love, bullying, confidence, laziness, toxic people, etc and she gives advice on how you can overcome it and how you can improve on the situation and/or on yourself. And the thing is, not all of you will believe her or take her advice. It's really your decision on how you want to take it. Anyways, for me, i used to struggle with self love a lot. Back in middle school, i was bullied in 7th grade for my looks and the bullying got so bad to the point where i almost ended my life. Back then i didn't have any confidence, i was going through a lot both at home and school and it was just horrible. I was depressed, i had so much anxiety, i always used to get home and feel depressed. I never had good days, I felt so tired of it but i kept pushing and pushing and it was so so SO hard but i made it. I have toxic parents so self love is definitely not something that I'll have easily if i have a toxic environment around me.
Now, fast forward to some years later. I'm in high school. People stare at me at school. People compliment me. No one bullies me anymore. Sometimes, i still see some of these people who used to bully me but now, i don't care. I've been doing certain things to help me with my journey and here is my advice.
- Learn how to protect your energy.
If you are someone who believes in spiritual stuff, i definitely think you should read this. Protecting your energy is very very VERY important. There are entities everywhere around us. If you don't know what entities are, entities are spirits who haven't moved on from their life on earth. There are also dangerous entities. Those are the ones who seek revenge and try to control your mind, body, etc. People have entities around them all the time. And it can be dangerous for your soul. An example.. Let's say you go and visit a friend. Before going, you feel happy, you feel great, you feel pretty. Now you go and see that friend. You guys talk and all of a sudden, you feel drained out. You feel like you're tired. You start to feel insecure. You didn't feel like this before but while you're talking to that friend, all of a sudden, you feel different and off. That is an entity that is surrounding your friend. And that is also called energy exchange. Energy exchange is when 2 people connect and their energies swap. This can happen through talking, calling, texting, etc. One way i protected my energy is by distancing myself from people who are negative. If you're constantly surrounded by people who are always negative about everything then you're most likely to also get negative. I'm sure at least some of you have experienced that. Once you decide to distance yourself from these people, you'll start to notice some changes. You'll feel less drained out. You're feel like a weight just lifted off your shoulders. You'll feel better. Another way for me, personally is saying this mantra that I've learned from Thewizardliz, It goes by "I call back all my power from all people, places and situations that have been sealing it without my consent now and I give back any power or energy that is not mine to carry." This pushes away bad entities and spirits and protects your energy. If you believe in God, pray and ask God to protect your soul and energy for you. - Cut off toxic people.
If you have a toxic environment around you. How are you supposed to love yourself? If you can't escape that toxic environment because it's just not possible at the moment then look back at #1. It doesn't matter who the person is. Whether it's your boyfriend/girlfriend, best friend, sister, brother, etc. If you're scared to cut that person off then think about it like this. Everyone has a certain role and purpose that they play in your life. Which means that everyone will come and go. Your boyfriend just broke up with you? Honey let him go. He did his part in your life and you did in his. Everyone is here to teach you a lesson about life. In the most unexpected moment, someone even bigger and better will come for you. It's totally okay if you don't believe that because that's your belief. But if we always had happiness, would we appreciate the good things in life?. Everything happens for a reason. Cut anyone off that is hurting you in any way because you don't deserve it.
- Realize that not everyone is your friend.
I used to be in a friend group in 7th grade and it was really toxic. When i was going through something, they didn't care that much. Sometimes they would care but other times they didn't care and they were barely there in my darkest moments. They would always also care for one person in the group the most and it was honestly weird because everyone should have the same amount of care. I stayed in that friend group in 8th grade as well. They became my "best friends". We've had some good times but other times, it was just drama and there were some times when they went against me for something i didn't do or something that wasn't even bad and they would even do it to each other. There was soooo much drama and the friend group became bigger which of course would create MORE drama. It was so tiring and draining. In 9th grade, i decided to cut them off. I was scared to be alone but i thought... am i really going to keep being around people who drain my energy constantly or am i going to cut them off and live my life without people who keep hurting me?. When i cut them off, they instantly started talking shit about me. (I know this because my friend showed me screenshots and stuff about them talking about me). I realized how much they were hurting me and how much effect they had on me and after cutting them out of my life, i felt so much better. It wasn't easy but i needed peace. I was so tired of them and i decided that i was done with them and their bullshit. And of course i had times when i felt lonely but i felt so much more better. I didn't constantly have drama around me and someone talking shit about the other. Once you decide to cut off toxic people in your life, you will start to feel lonely and feel like you're all alone but then think about it like this...If you can't even enjoy your own company, how can you even love yourself?
- Manifesting
Manifesting is so powerful for me. I honestly learned manifesting through Liz and some people think that manifesting is just writing something down and then just expecting it to happen and receiving it afterwards. But no. It isn't. Manifesting is so much more than that and you can do it in different ways. For me, the way i manifest is standing in front of a mirror and saying what i want as if i already have it. A few days ago, i wanted to manifest clear skin. And so i did. I stood in front of my mirror and i said. "I have clear skin. I have no blackheads, no whiteheads, no pimples." and i took this product which i put on every night to clear my skin but it never really cleared it. Until i manifested it. After saying my affirmations, I took the product and showed it to the mirror and i put it on my face and kept repeating my affirmations again about 3-4 times and then i went to bed. Today, i woke up with no pimples. And my blackheads and whiteheads are clearing up. This is how powerful manifestation is. And the thing is, it's not just saying your affirmations either. You NEED to have that mindset that you already have what you want and that it will work. Because if you're constantly saying "it's not gonna work, it's not gonna work" then honey, it's not going to work. Especially not with that mindset. And another thing about manifestation is you also need to do your part. For example, if you need money, then you need to manifest a good suitable job for you. Go online, talk to your friends, pray about it and honey you will get what you want. But also, don't forget to have that mindset. - Realize that people who judge you, don't even love themselves.
If you're constantly thinking about what people think then you're not going to be happy. So what this person said you're ugly? So what this person says you're fat or skinny? Do they feed you? Are these people there for you at your lowest? Did they give you a bed to sleep on every night? If you're so worried about people who don't even benefit you in any way then you need to stop and think about if these people have done anything for you because me personally, if you're worried about MY life and what I do and you haven't even done ONE SINGLE THING to help me or benefit me in anyway then you don't even exist to me. And you guys need to understand this...People who judge other people are miserable. They don't love themselves. They are not happy.
