My boyfriend and best friend both told me separately they never heard me say anything good about myself.

I have a problem with poor self talk. What tips and tricks do you guys have to get out this mental cycle?

I was thinking maybe changing the content on my social media to happier/funny content. (My social media is depression and quotes). Or maybe deleting all the sad songs from my music library.

I have tried but always never stuck:

• Self talk affirmations • Writing and leaving positive messages all around the home • Downloaded motivational apps on my phone • Listen to self-care podcasts (honestly, I think this just adds to the “something is wrong with me” mindset) • Been going to therapy on and off • On anti-depressants • Keep an emotional tracker (it’s always dramatically up and down. But never diagnosed with bi-polar after seeing 5+ therapists and several psychiatrists)

I need to trick myself into something that’s daily and always an inevitable routine. I’m too ADHD to keep a routine.
