Self-love isn’t about ignoring problems or pretending everything is fine. It’s about acknowledging when you’re struggling and taking steps to care for yourself, whether that’s resting, asking for help, or seeking professional support.

4. Accepting Imperfection
Self-love doesn’t mean believing you’re perfect. It means accepting that you’re human, you’ll make mistakes, and you’re still worthy of respect and care.

5. Doing the Hard Things That Help You Grow
Sometimes self-love looks like going to therapy, having difficult conversations, or changing habits that no longer serve you. Growth can be uncomfortable, but it’s part of genuinely caring for yourself.

Self-love isn’t always glamorous. Sometimes it looks like setting limits, facing difficult emotions, or choosing long-term well-being over short-term comfort.

But at its core, self-love is simple:
Treat yourself with the same care, patience, and respect that you deserve and would give to someone you truly care about.
