Hey everyone. I am in the middle of letting go of a few unhealthy relationships in my life. Right now I’m trying to really focus on myself and my well being. It has just been really really hard.

I guess I’ve realized that I’ve always had people in my life to talk to consistently or just people that were always available to talk to hangout. Right now I don’t really have access to that and I’m trying to focus more on filling myself instead of relying on other people to do it for me. It’s just been a lonely road and I’ve realized I’m not used to being alone, especially with my thoughts and feelings. I don’t really know myself as well as I should and I’ve been relying on others to validate me and tell me who I should be so that I’m accepted by others. And I really don’t have much confidence, and have struggle with people pleasing but with the help of my therapist I’m slowly overcoming this.

Would anyone have any advice? I really know I need to use this time to focus on myself, my well being and just change for the better. I want to become more confident jn myself, respect and love myself and actually be able to sit with myself even in the midst of uncomfortable feelings and know how to handle it. allow myself to be vulnerable as its something I've struggled with heavily. Would anyone know how to deal with the loneliness as well?

So far, I’ve been focusing on trying to get back into hobbies, and start new ones. Going to the gym ( has honestly been my safe space), and trying to go out more so I’m not in the house alone. I’m also trying to work on my social skills as I’m pretty shy and introverted.

Please if anyone has any advice I would love to hear. Thank you for reading.
