Any advise on how to stop negative self talk? I have this deep ingrained hatred for myself ever since I remember being conscious bc I always thought of myself as ‘bad’. Even before I had any real understanding of what was good or bad, I knew I wasn’t good.

I have agoraphobia and anxiety and I’m 28 and stuck at home with no job, no friends, no life and I’ve been resisting seeking professional help bc I just feel like it’s cringe to think of myself as deserving of good things bc it seems like im asking for too much and someone like me should just stay in her lane and not try to be like others or push myself in spaces that aren’t for losers like me (idk if this makes sense).

I’ve realized that a lot of my issues in life stem from this hatred for myself. I’ve been punishing myself for being bad all my life but I want to stop. I want to stop giving up on myself. I’ve been trying incorporate small changes into my daily life to heal and I’m trying to be kinder to myself.

I need tips on how to improve my self dialogue and to stop being mean to myself.
